Enjoy yourself discovering the world of wine, choose a bottle that will be, before anything, a source of pleasure if shared with the right people and served in optimum conditions, in harmony with food.

Activities for family, friends, special event (cocktail party, bachelor/bachelorette party, etc.): "Gourmet Discovery".

Activities for tourist groups: "Wines from the Renaissance era till today"; "Time evolution of Wine". Customized for multiple audiences, depending on the group’s motivation.

Team building activities: "How to serve a Loire Valley wine". Wine-related game, original and fun, designed for several teams.

These activities can be organized at most of the touristic sites in the Loire Valley (châteaux, boats, etc) or at your place of accommodation.

They can be customized as you desire, especially if you wish to discover specific vintages for personal reasons (year of birth, year of first job in the compagnie, etc).

Gastronomic discoveries

Based on the discovery of Loire Valley wines with a tasting of unique local products.

We will introduce you to our philosophy: « pleasure » wine, « emotion » wine, how to spend an unforgettable moment with a Loire Valley wine and enhance it on your table (around 30 minutes). Tasting of:

  • 3 wines including a vintage and typical cheeses.
  • 2 wines with local reputed delicatessen.

Rates: flash 15€ tax incl/person.

Wine from renaissance to today. From the drink to pleasure.

Based on the use evolution of the taste and the perception of wine, from the 16th century to 2000's.

After a brief description and comments on wine philosophy through the centuries such as wine "food", wine "drink", wine "pleasure and emotion" and how to imagine our ancestors' life about wine, a tating will then make you go down in history:

  • A young wine with great potential + a local food specialty
  • A millesime from the 60's to 80's
  • A Renaissance drink (Hypocras or Sage wine)

Rates: based on 15 people minimum: 15€ tax incl/person. Duration is about an hour. option : Sage wine + fleur-de-lis cake : 16.50 € tax incl/person.
Option : Vin de Sauge + gâteau fleur de Lys. 16,5€ tax incl/person.

Serving a Loire Valley wine

Based on the discovery of our Loire Valley wines, with playful tastings to appreciate:

  • The sweetness of a wine?
  • The importance of the glass?
  • The importance of the temperature?
  • Food and wine pairing: an example?
  • Aging caracteristics (some millésimes)

One hour and thirty minutes of tasting: 8 wines.
You can also enjoy, in the best conditions possible, a bottle filled with emotions which will leave you with pleasureful memories to share with those people who really count: a birth date, a wedding day, an unforgettable experience… (The bottle chosen will be billed at the price of our wines).

Découverte du millésime anniversaire

Partager ensemble dans les conditions idéales le millésime de l’année d’un anniversaire à célébrer.

Animation exceptionnelle: Basée sur la découverte de l’évolution de nos vins de Loire au cours d’une dégustation ludique, avec la mise en valeur :

  • D’un vin jeune au potentiel de garde et aux caractéristiques gastronomiques.
  • D’un vin adolescent des années 2000. Du millésime de l’anniversaire à célébrer.

Le tout, accompagnés de mets en accord avec les vins pour la mise en valeur.

Rates: À partir de 10 personnes ; 25€ TTC/personne.

De 6 à 9 personnes ; 40€ TTC/personne.

Time Evolution of Wine

Based on the discovery of our Loire Valley wine’s evolution, after having aged in a troglodyte cellar cave.
During this playful tasting, enjoy:

  • A young dry wine paired with a local specialty.
  • A young semi-sweet or sweet wine.
  • A 80’s vintage.
  • A 60’s vintage.

After a brief description and comments on wine philosophy through the centuries such as wine "food", wine "drink", wine "pleasure and emotion" and how to imagine our ancestors' life about wine, a tating will then make you go down in history:

  • A young wine with great potential + a local food specialty
  • A millesime from the 60's to 80's
  • A Renaissance drink (Hypocras or Sage wine)

Rates: For a group of 10 to 30 people 60€/person. (duration: approximately one hour).

You can also choose your vintages and increase the number of wines to taste and enjoy in the best conditions possible: a bottle filled with emotions which will leave you with pleasureful memories to share with those people who really count: a birth date, a wedding day, an unforgettable experience…
